S.C.A.R. Derby is excited to welcome adults (18+) of all gender identities to join our league! Whether you're interested in skating, officiating, volunteering, or cheering us on, there's a place for you in our fun and inclusive community.
How do I get involved?
Eligible skaters are 18+ and can be any gender! No skating experience is necessary, seriously. We will teach you everything you need to know.
Not "sporty?" We don't care! Many of our skaters did not have a history of being athletic or had not played a team sport since high school. We have members of all ages and backgrounds. It's never too late to find your community within S.C.A.R. Derby!
Want to join in a different role that doesn't involve skating? You can still be involved as a volunteer! We're always looking for referees, NSOs (non-skating officials), and volunteers. NSOs play an important role in ensuring our bouts run smoothly by participating in scorekeeping, penalty box timing, lineup tracking, and more. No experience is necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know. If you're interested in getting involved, contact us to learn more.
